A collapse at a university construction site left a Pennsylvania worker injured. According to the report, the construction site accident occurred when a steel beam fell.
A spokesperson for the construction site stated that fifth floor connector failed, causing the steel beam to separate from the structure. The construction worker suffered an injury to his leg. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was found to be in stable condition. The construction company responsible for the site shut down work at the location.
Construction workers often face severe injuries while they are working on the job.
